Newcastle United signing Ayoze Perez is excited about his move to England.
United will look to develop the player from the Canary Isles first and he could work with Peter Beardsley in the club's second string.
But Perez said he was eager to get started and show his worth.
He said: "I was valued by them and the negotiations have been very good. That helps one to choose which club to go to. I am very eager to start playing for Newcastle.
"All of those clubs are important but I have to look after my own interests. At Newcastle I can look forward to a great thing and I can grow there, and help their club well."
