Aymeric Laporte is full of pride over his move to Manchester City.
The former Athletic Bilbao defender moved to City last month.
He told RMC: "If they paid that money, it's because the club wanted me and football is now like that. I do not think about it, otherwise you can catch fear with these sums. These are really big sums and you have to stop thinking about that.
"I know where I'm going, I already knew the world, but I like the challenges and I think I have my place. You have to work every day, try to earn a place."
On City boss Pep Guardiola, Laporte continued: "He teaches me a lot every day, so it's something very good for me.
"I had already talked with him. He likes my style of play, I like his, so it's mutual and I hope we will do good things together. He had already seen qualities in me, we had talked about it and now it's done."
