Australia coach Bert van Marwijk was left frustrated after their 2-1 defeat to France in today's opening World Cup group C clash.
A penalty each for Antoine Griezmann and Mile Jedinak had the scores locked at 1-1 before Manchester United star Paul Pogba managed to score the winner.
Afterwards, Van Marwijk stated: "Yeah, to lose to such an unlucky goal. It's difficult. To play like that and lose to one of the best teams in the world.
"And just before the second goal, (Tomi) Juric had a chance with a three on one. They made a tackle on him. They received a yellow card - but our chance was gone."
On France's penalty, he said: "I couldn't see it really. For my feeling, no. But I'll have to see it."
Asked about their next game against Denmark, Van Marwijk concluded: "Yeah, but we can't think about that. I'm disappointed with this.
"We deserved a point."
