Austin OK but QPR hit by double defensive blow

Charlie Austin will miss only one game for QPR after being injured in defeat to Southampton.

However, while 13-goal top scorer Austin is only set to miss the midweek encounter with Sunderland with bruising to his right foot, the club confirmed on Sunday afternoon that Richard Dunne will be out for up to three months having suffered a medial cruciate ligament injury in his right knee.

Nedum Onuoha also sustained a hamstring problem which will keep him out for three to four weeks.

Dunne's QPR deal expires at the end of the season.
