Chelsea fullback Abdul Baba Rahman is being linked with a return to Germany.

The Daily Star Sunday says the defender, 21, joined the Blues from Augsburg for £20million in the summer and his former club have been alerted to his frustration at a lack of playing time.

He has made just eight starts and has not played at all under interim manager Guus Hiddink.

Chelsea have preferred to play right-back Cesar Azpilicueta on the left flank, rather than select Rahman, who has failed to impress.
