Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is ready to be reunited with former Borussia Dortmund teammate Henrikh Mkhitaryan at Arsenal.

The Manchester United midfielder is set to join Arsenal in a swap for Alexis Sanchez - and Aubameyang is due to arrive as a replacement for the Chilean.

Mkhitaryan posted a 'goodbye' picture on Instagram from United training earlier on Thursday as Jose Mourinho's men prepared for Saturday's trip to Burnley, reports the Mirror.

In the picture alongside several of his teammates, Mkhitaryan wrote: "Fun times at training today."

And now, Aubameyang has got fans excited by 'liking' the post, perhaps suggesting the duo could soon be teammates in north London.

The pair played together at Dortmund before Mkhitaryan's switch to United.
