Atletico Paranaense insist talks with Roma over the sale of winger Azevedo have cooled.

Paranaense chief Osimar Bolicenho said: "Since the first proposal of Roma in early December, we have not heard from anyone in Rome.

"Their first offer was too low and we have not even responded. Then silence."

Roma's bid was understood to be £150,000 for a six-month loan and £750,000 to sign Azevedo permanently in June.
