Atletico Madrid are ready to cough up for Inter Milan defender Nicolas Burdisso.
The two clubs are locked in negotiations for the Argentine, who is being frozen out at Inter this preseason.
Atletico are willing to pay £6 million for Burdisso - if they manage to get through the Champions League qualifiers.
