Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan has dismissed talk of a move to AC Milan.

Asked if he would leave Spain for Italy, Forlan replied: "No. Not for the moment. If an interesting offer were to arrive I would obviously take it into consideration because the Italian championship is a good one and it would be very motivating to play in Serie A. Anyway, for the moment it's not on the agenda."

When confronted with reports linking him with a move to Milan, Forlan said: "The truth is that a proposal hasn't arrived for me. They have told me about this, but I have taken it for what it is. A rumour."
