Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero was delighted to be named FIFA's Young Player of the Year.

The Argentina international said: "I am very pleased to receive this prize. It has been very exciting to be here, to be next to players like Kaka, Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, it is a very enriching experience.

"I dedicate this award to my teammates and my family because they have been very important in this award."
