Atletico Madrid are preparing to lose Italian goalkeeper Christian Abbiati back to his parent club AC Milan.

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani said: "Abbiati did very well at Juve, great in Turin and well with Atletico. He has expressed a willingness to return and I say that there are many possibilities for this to happen."
