Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has dismissed talk of selling David De Gea to Manchester United.
According to the British media, United are close to agreeing a £15million swoop for the 20-year-old De Gea, who has built a burgeoning reputation since establishing himself as the first-choice number one at Atletico.
However, according to Cerezo there has been no contact with anybody about De Gea, who has a contract with the Rojiblancos until 2013.
"Nobody has spoken with us. Nor do I have any idea (about this matter)," Cerezo told AS.
"We hope that he will be a Rojiblanco player for a long time."
