Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo insists coach Javier Aguirre has the board's full support.

The Mexican has been mooted to be considering his position at Atletico, but Cerezo was having none of it when talking with Radio Marca.

"Aguirre is and remains our coach," said Cerezo yesterday. "He is a forward-thinking trainer and will sit on the bench on Wednesday and beyond."
