Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke has no problem with Antoine Griezmann speaking out over their poor start to the season.

A duo of draws against newly-promoted teams have seen Diego Simeone's side flounder in their attempt to win back the LaLiga title, prompting the Frenchman's claim and a negative reaction from teammate Saul Niguez.

"[Griezmann] is a winner and that's good for the team," Koke told radio show El Partidazo, "he told me that he was sorry if it had bothered me, but he has not lost our trust because he wants to win.

"Also, Saul did not do much wrong."
