Atletico Madrid are being linked with departing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Gotze.

The World Cup winner will leave Dortmund when his contract expires this summer and is also expected to leave the Bundesliga.

Gotze has been linked with Everton and AC Milan, though BILD says Atletico are now in contact.

Indeed, talks have already been held over personal terms, with Atletico offering a salary of €2m. At BVB, he has been on €10m-a-year.

Gotze has made 21 appearances for BVB across all competitions this season.
