Atletico Madrid are moving for Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder.
El Mundo Deportivo says Atletico are in the market for a creative midfielder and are keen on former Real Madrid star Sneijder and Valencia's Ever Banega.
In Sneijder's case, Atletico have been in talks with Galatasaray for over three weeks about the Dutch midfielder.
Atletico president Enrique Cerezo is prepared to make a formal bid for Sneijder, though understands personal terms could be a sticking point wth the midfielder on a cool €6 million-a-year.
In Banega's case, Valencia are ready to sell and their sports director Rufete has already informed the Argentine they won't stand in his way should he find a new club.
Banega spent part of last season on-loan at Newell's Old Boys.
