Atletico Madrid are moving for Barcelona striker Memphis Depay.

Atletico and Barça already know that the Dutchman is predisposed to open negotiations to leave for Madrid while waiting to reach an economic agreement on a two-and-a-half year deal, says Sport.

Atlético launched their interest in Memphis knowing a deal was possible. Previously, their sporting committee had spoken with the player's entourage to find out his willingness to play for the club from January and the Dutchman did not close the door.

Once the talks with Barça advanced, Memphis has confirmed to all parties that he welcomes this option.

Despite everything, Memphis has another proposal on the table, which could be Newcastle United, and he could pick the highest bidder, although the Atlético project is more attractive.
