Manchester City are ready to launch a bid for Atletico Madrid star Sergio Aguero.

Marca says the Argie whiz is City's big new target for the January market and with a buyout clause of around £40 million there are concerns at Atletico of losing the youngster.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich made a £35 million bid for Aguero last summer, which Atletico were able to resist.
