Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in Arsenal's Santi Carzola as a potential replacement for Arda Turan should the Turkish international leave the club.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that Atletico manager Diego Simeone rates Cazorla highly and is eager to bolster his squad with the signing of the 30-year-old Spaniard.

Turan has made no secret of his intention to leave Atletico, with Barcelona considered to be frontrunners for his signature, despite also receiving interest from Chelsea, Manchester Unted and Paris Saint-Germain.

Ukrainian international Yevhen Konoplyanka, Wolfsburg's Kevin De Bruyne and Barcelona's Pedro are believed to be other options Atletico are considering.
