Atletico Madrid defender Jose Gimenez recognises they weren't at their best for the 1-1 draw with Eibar.

But Gimenez is confident his side can turn things around.

"There is a concern and it is normal, as we are Atletico Madrid and we want and we have to be up there," the player stated.

"We will continue to grow with confidence and take things forward.

"This is a cloud and the sun will surely come out tomorrow.

"Even though it's not the best start, we'll work to turn the page and let the positive things come."

The Uruguayan also had positive words for Atletico youngster Borja Garces, who scored the equaliser in the dying seconds of the match.

"I hope it's the first of many, I told him when he scored he deserved it," he added.

"In practice, he shows that he wants to be with us and does not want to go down.

"I noticed that spark he has in training showed up in him today and I'm happy for him."
