Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone says Luis Suarez could face Granada this weekend.
But Simeone admits he is yet to decide if he will play "from the start or enter in the second half".
"Yesterday he had a long day and trained well with the team, I see him with a lot of enthusiasm and hope, and of course he's been called up so he's at the disposition of the team," said Simeone. "And tomorrow we will decide if he starts or it's better for him to come on in the second half."
Simeone added that Suarez "was convinced by coming to Atletico from the first moment that we spoke, he knew this was the best place for him to keep showing that he is an important forward. I found him with hope and enthusiasm being here and if that happens it usually goes well."
