Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone defended Antoine Griezmann after their stalemate with Leganes.

Griezmann struggled to make an impact in the 0-0 draw.

But Simeone said: "He is a player who usually always solves attacking problems.

"When he does, it is easier to win but we struggle when he doesn't.

"The rest of the team needs to help him and create more chances.

"The reality was that we kept pushing for the goal but could have been caught on the break."
