Marca says Atletico have had a £15 million offer accepted by Benfica and Simao has agreed personal terms over a five-year contract.
The Portugal international is in Madrid today for his medical ahead of penning his Atletico deal. Simao's £15 million fee includes £3.5 million being based on appearances and success.
