Spanish club Athletic Bilbao are believed to be showing considerable interest in Cesar Azpilicueta.

According to a report from the Daily Mirror, the Basque outfit are keen on the Chelsea left-back and could make an ambitious bid this summer.

Azpilicueta has been a key performer at Stamford Bridge over the past few seasons having initially joined from French club Marseille in 2012.

With the impending arrival of Antonio Conte, Azpilicueta's future in West London has been clouded, which has alerted Bilbao.

However, it is understood that the 26-year-old is expected to stay with the 2014/15 Premier League champions even if Conte opts to add another top quality full-back.
