Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain is being linked with a sensational move to Athletic Bilbao.

Higuain, after a tough past 12 months away with Chelsea and AC Milan, has rediscovered some of his best form this season back in Turin.

However, the 32 year-old could yet be on the move this summer - and Bilbao are exploring the prospect of signing the former Real Madrid star.

Higuain has Bilbao roots, courtesy of his great grandfather, who was a Basque.

An Argentina international, Higuain was actually born in Brest, France, where father Jorge played before returning to South America.
