Atalanta veteran Luis Muriel was happy with their Europa League win against Sturm Graz.
La Dea won 1-0 on the night to strengthen their hopes of reaching the knockout phase.
Muriel said: "In the second half we managed to create a lot. It's a shame we didn't score more goals but we always kept the game in turmoil, even if it's risky to be ahead by a goal. We were good at holding it and less good at not closing it out. It's important to have won, now we want first place.
"We need two games to get a point."
On coach Gian Piero Gasperini, he added: "I have a wonderful relationship. He asks me a lot for the ability I can have in certain moments.
"He asks me to be physically well and help the team. We have a good relationship."
