Atalanta striker Hojlund: Man Utd would be huge; but that Ten Hag call...?

Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund cannot deny he'd welcome a summer move to Manchester United.

However, the Dane has rejected reports of a video call with United manager Erik ten Hag.

He said at today's Denmark presser: "No, there has been no video call."

The 20-year-old striker was later asked if there has been any kind of contact between him and United.

"I can't say anything about that.

"I don't read much about it. I relate to what is the truth, and that is that I am a footballer for Atalanta, and that I have two really important matches with the national team, where I have to go out and perform.

Hojlund was also asked if he expects to be sold in the upcoming transfer window.

"We have to see what happens. As you see and hear, I could imagine that a lot can happen with a striker cabal this summer. There are many clubs missing a nine.

"So something will definitely happen in relation to a cabal of strikers, and then we'll have to see if I'm in.

"But as I said, I am really happy for Atalanta, and we will play in Europe after the summer. I have settled in well there.

"My goal is to get on the highest shelf, and you can say that Manchester United is, so it would be huge."
