Atalanta are chasing Sampdoria striker Emiliano Bonazzoli.

Bonazzoli is expected to seek a move in the coming weeks following the arrival of Antonio Cassano from Real Madrid. The forward has found himself pushed well down the striker's pecking order this summer.

Atalanta see Bonazzoli as a replacement for Christian Vieri, who left the club for Fiorentina at the end of last season.
