Atalanta have joined the battle for Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic.

Fiorentina are in talks to sign Pasalic on-loan this season.

Sky Italia says, however, he is no longer sure of completing the switch to Florence.

Atalanta are ready to intervene and make a counter-proposal for the 23-year-old Croatia international.

Fenerbahce are also interested in Pasalic this week.
