Atalanta are in talks to sign Chelsea fullback Davide Zappacosta.
Zappacosta spent part of last season on-loan with AS Roma.
Sky Italia says Atalanta have tried to sign Rick Karsdorp, 25, but could not find agreement with Roma.
Atalanta have instead turned to Zappacosta.
La Dea have started talks with Chelsea about loaning Zappacosta over the coming season.
Chelsea signed Zappacosta for €25m in 2017 from Torino.
