Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini praised sports chief Lee Congerton for their signing of Ademola Lookman.
Lookman struck twice in yesterday's 3-3 draw with Juventus.
Gasperini said: “This new director, the responsible for scouting, Lee Congerton spotted these players, he knew him [Lookman] because they were together at Leicester City.
“He was quick for (Rasmus) Højlund, the club made an important investment in this lad. The club bought these two players who have been helping me work well."
Lookman was on-loan at Leicester last season from RB Leipzig, before joining La Dea for €9m in August.
