Aston Villa, Wolves remain in hunt for Galatasaray defender Christian Luyindama

Aston Villa and Wolves remain in the hunt for Galatasaray defender Christian Luyindama.

Fanatik says Galatasaray are determined to hold onto Luyindama, despite interest from the Premier League.

Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers have both been linked with the central defender in recent weeks, who is still rehabbing from a long-term knee injury.

The 26-year-old has been out since November, after suffering the injury on international duty with DR Congo.

He has now returned to training, where he is hoping to build up his fitness during the league suspension.

Villa and Wolves are both credited with an interest, but the Turkish giants are keen to hold onto him, unless a 'mega' offer is lodged.

Luyindama has two years left on his contract with Gala.
