Aston Villa are willing to sell Philippe Coutinho in January.

Football Insider says Villa are happy for the attacking midfielder's agent Kia Joorabchian to find him a new club.

Coutinho's time in the Midlands started brightly, as he scored four goals and assisted a further three in his first eight appearances.

His output dried up, however, scoring just once more in the final 11 matches of last season.

Villa made the transfer permanent regardless, handing the 69-cap star a four-year contract.

He has struggled this term, however, failing to contribute a single goal or assist in 13 appearances in all competitions.
