Aston Villa want to keep hold of their loan trio if they win promotion.

The Mirror says Aston Villa will initiate talks to buy loan stars Tammy Abraham, Tyrone Mings and Axel Tuanzebe if they are promoted.

Villa face Derby in the play-off final a week on Monday for the chance to return to the Premier League.

The Midlands' club have already started forward planning for both eventualities of either promotion or staying in the Championship.

Chelsea striker Abraham, 21, who has 26 goals, and Bournemouth defender Mings, 26, and Manchester United starlet Tuanzebe, 21, have all been key players this term.

The trio helped Villa past local rivals West Brom in the semi-finals and also starred in a new club record 10-game winning run.
