Aston Villa are plotting a surprise move for an outcast at Manchester United this summer.
The Premier League club are interested in signing United goalkeeper Matej Kovar.
The 23-year-old, who is not in United's first team plans for the coming season, was on loan at Sparta Prague last term.
Per Czech outlet Idnez, Villa boss Unai Emery is an admirer of Kovar and may want to bring him to the Midlands club.
Villa would likely see him as cover for their no.1 goalkeeper Emi Martinez for the coming season.
Whether Kovar agrees to a move where he is a backup is unclear, with Manchester Evening News stating he has many offers.
