Aston Villa are eager to sign the talented French winger Moussa Diaby from Bayer Leverkusen.
The attacker is a key target for manager Unai Emery this summer as he looks to elevate Villa's squad.
Emery will have Villa in the Europa Conference League next season, which means they need squad depth.
Per Fabrizio Romano, a bid of €35 million plus add-ons has gone in from Villa to Leverkusen.
While the proposal does not meet the German team's value of Diaby, Leverkusen may have to consider.
Other teams have not come in with bids, which means his price has gone down in the market.
