Tim Sherwood says the majority of his Aston Villa squad are playing for their futures at the club.
In the wake of the humiliating 6-1 loss to Southampton on Saturday, Sherwood indicated that there are a number of players at Villa Park who need to perform in order to continue with the West Midlands outfit.
"It's hard for me to make too many judgements. I want to watch it and see it again. It's really hard to dissect it at the moment," said Sherwood of the heavy defeat.
"You have to watch it again. You have to see what you can learn. They're all playing for their immediate futures and long-term."
The loss saw Villa drop to 15th on the Premier League table where they sit four points above the relegation zone with one fixture remaining.
