Norwich City and Aston Villa are emerging as frontrunners in the race to sign AFC Wimbledon goalkeeping star Matthew Fox.

The young talent has impressed Premier League scouts, with Football Insider claiming that Villa and newly promoted Norwich are both lining up moves for the 18-year-old.

While the teenager has yet to make his first team debut with Wimbledon, he was on the bench for 17 games in League One last term.

Cox played two games for the England Under-17s last February.

The shot-stopper, who is behind Sam Walker and Nikola Tzanev in the goalkeeping pecking order at Wimbledon, could be set for a Premier League move this summer.
