Jordan Veretout is ready to kickstart his career at Aston Villa.

The Frenchman has struggled to find his feet in the Premier League.

He told the Daily Star: “It was all very difficult to start with just adapting to the way of life but it's getting easier every day now.

“I'm finding it better and better. I'm enjoying it here though the English food is something I'm struggling to get used to! It's not so good.

“Driving around was tricky at first but I'm fine with it now. In fact, I'm getting so used to driving on the other side of the road so much that sometimes when I go back to France, I forget to switch sides!

“Aalyah was only two weeks old when we came over, that was a tough time what with no sleep and staying in a hotel."
