Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz says he's happy at Villa Park.

The Brazil international is preparing for their friendly against England.

"I feel very comfortable after Emery's arrival," Luiz said. "With the previous coaches I was six or the five. With him I have more freedom, exactly the way I like to play.

"I scored 10 goals and have 10 assists this season. The training makes it more comfortable. I talked to Dorival [Brazil manager] about the way he would like me to play. Freedom is very good for adding goals and assists."

Luiz added: "Playing here, my opinion of the Premier League is that it's a very strong league, not just any player can play at Wembley. I've played there once in five years. They'll want to win. We're trying to quickly understand Dorival's work and put it into practice on the pitch.

"It's going to be a great game, different times for the teams. Ours is rebuilding, England is more formed, and we'll give it our all to win this match.

"England's call-up is the day before. There's Watkins and Konsa in the team. We always talk about who would win if we faced each other. Of course, I'll always want to win. Happy for both of them to be called up, but I hope we can win."
