Aston Villa manager Unai Emery rates Xabi Alonso among Europe's brightest young coaches.

Xabi has Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League semifinals, where they're facing AS Roma.

Emery was asked to rate the better coach between Jose Mourinho and Max Allegri.

But he told La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Impossible to choose: they are top coaches.

"But be careful with Xabi Alonso: at Leverkusen he is showing that he has what it takes to be a good coach."
