Aston Villa target Liam Gibbs has rejected a new contract offer from Ipswich Town.
The Suffolk News reports the talented 18 year-old attacker has rejected Ipswich's offer and will seek a new challenge elsewhere this summer.
Gibbs was first offered fresh terms at the start of the year and talks took place again on Wednesday ahead of the June 30 deadline.
But negotiations broke down and Gibbs, who has also attracted interest from Manchester United, Leeds United and Rangers as well as Villa, is now a free agent.
Ipswich would be entitled to a nominal compensation fee for Gibbs having developed him from a young age.
