Aston Villa have lost their chief scout Jeff Vetere.
The Daily Mail says Vetere is returning to Charlton Athletic as director of football.
Vetere only joined Villa last November but will link up with Charlton again.
He previously worked with the youth teams at The Valley and has also worked at Newcastle United and Real Madrid.
