Aston Villa are still looking to lure Scott Sinclair from Manchester City.
The 25-year old winger has been heavily linked with a winter move to Villa Park but reports suggested that any talks regarding a permanent move were dead in the water.
However, a fresh report in the Daily Mail suggests that former Chelsea youngster Sinclair could join Villa on loan for the remainder of the season.
The former England U21 international joined the reigning Premier League champions from Swansea City in 2012 but has managed just 19 appearances since his arrival.
