Aston Villa goalscorer Ashley Young: A lot of frustration in our dressing room

Aston Villa goalscorer Ashley Young admits there's frustration in the away dressing room after their 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest.

It was Young's first goal for Villa since 2011 - when he was in his first spell at the club - and it was the only notable moment of attacking inspiration from two sides that otherwise struggled creatively in the final third.

He said, "There's a lot of frustration in our dressing room. When you have that much possession and get into the final third things are just not coming off. That's just what is happening of late. We just need something to go our way and I think the goals will come.

"You set up not to concede but we showed our character to get back in the game. It's always nice to get on the scoresheet but when you draw it feels like a loss. I know I have the ability and when I saw it come out I knew I was going to shoot.

"I think we played well. It's just going and getting that next goal. We created more in the second half but it wasn't meant to be. We need everyone in the team to start adding more goals to what we have so far."
