Aston Villa are eyeing Leicester City defender Daniel Amartey.

The Mirror say Villa want to loan a second Leicester City player – midfielder Daniel Amartey.

Villa boss Steve Bruce is waiting for a reply from the Foxes on the Ghanaian.

Bruce already has one bid on the table – for striker Leonardo Ulloa.

And he is sweating on the decision-makers at the East Midlands club coming back to him over the former FC Copenhagen man.

Amartey, 23, has struggled for game time and that is unlikely to improve now £22million midfielder Adrien Silva has completed his move from Sporting Lisbon.
