Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins has been backed to silence his doubters.
The attacker was not in the best of form as Villa could only manage a 0-0 draw against ten-man Leeds United away from home in the Premier League.
Despite their opponents having a man less for a significant portion of the game, Watkins and the other Villa attackers could not find the back of the net to claim all three points.
Manager Steven Gerrard even admitted post-game that his attackers had to improve their level.
However, center-back Ezri Konsa stated on Watkins post-match: “Ollie himself knows it was a frustrating game. He had chances in the first half and the second.
“He didn't put them away but I am sure he will bounce back. As a team, he helps us a lot with his work rate."
He added: “Everyone can see, if you watch him closely, he gets frustrated with himself. But he brings a lot to our team. He'll bounce back."
