Aston Villa captain Grealish raps Keane: I wanted to take pen!

Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish has hit back at Roy Keane after the Irishman took aim at the midfielder and Raheem Sterling for not stepping up in England's penalty shootout defeat.

The Three Lions saw their Euro 2020 dream ended in the final by Italy.

The Azzurri won a penalty shootout 3-2 at Wembley after the contest had finished 1-1.

Grealish has responded to Keane on social media insisting he put his hand up, but allowed Gareth Southgate to make the final call.

He said: "I said I wanted to take one!!!! The gaffer has made so many right decisions through this tournament and he did tonight!

"But I won't have people say that I didn't want to take a peno when I said I will…"
