Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard is delighted with what he's seen from summer arrival Boubacar Kamara.
The France U21 midfielder joined Villa in a Bosman deal from Olympique Marseille.
Gerrard said, “He showed his qualities. We only had two or three sessions from a footballing point of view, but you can see straight away that he has an impressive footballing IQ.
"You can see he knows the game, he has an impressive understanding of the game. Technically, he is a wonderful ball passer.
"For now, it is still very early and he still has to adapt, get used to his teammates and our team. I am convinced that over time he will adapt well and become a very good player for Aston Villa."
