Aston Villa boss Remi Garde is eager to sell Gabby Agbonlahor.

Agbonlahor has been struggling with a back issue but his continued absence indicates Garde's view on him, as well as Charles N'Zogbia.

On Agbonlahor's possible return, he said: "I will see what I see in training sessions.' Villa are open to offers for the 29-year-old this month.

Garde added: "I'm very happy with the way we've played the last two games. They were not easy games because they were against teams who were full of confidence when we were not.

"But the way we played and the spirit we showed in this difficult period pleased me a lot because it means that my players have a good attitude."
